Our mission

Make every sermon hearable in every language, in real time. Most multilingual congregations rely on hand-distributed translation receivers, scheduled human interpreters, or post-service transcripts that arrive days late. Hear Him replaces all of that with a streaming AI pipeline that any listener can join from a phone in their hand — with no app fee, no account requirement, and no waiting.

What we believe

• Listeners should never pay.

  Translation is a stewardship of the message. Every listener feature on Hear Him — live captions, translated audio, the full sermon archive — is free, on every plan.

• The pulpit deserves liturgical-grade translation.

  Generic translation models flatten the cadence of the pulpit. Our model is tuned to preserve scripture references, names of Bible books, and the texture of prayer.

• Real-time means real-time.

  Captions arrive in under three seconds. Translated voice in under five. We measure latency every minute and publish a public status page.

• Privacy is not a marketing feature.

  We dedupe listeners with a privacy-preserving hash so we never store raw device IDs. Listener identities are not sold, shared, or used to train models.

How it works

A church streams sermon audio into Hear Him from a laptop, soundboard, or OBS plug-in. Our pipeline transcribes the speech in real time, translates it sentence by sentence into every enabled language, and optionally synthesizes a translated voice for each listener's chosen language. Captions and audio are broadcast over WebSockets and a low-latency CDN to listeners on web and mobile. After the service, every sermon is archived in every language, with AI-generated summaries, themes, and detected scripture references.
